Dr. Violet Harada is currently a teacher and researcher in the Library and Information Science Graduate Program at the University of Hawaii. Before making the transition to higher education, she worked as both a librarian and administrator in elementary, intermediate, and high schools. This existence in both the academic and field areas of librarianship inform her research as she she strives to include all points of view.
